   With the addition of the cultural show, this year's Independence celebrations hold  promises to be most enjoyable.

   The keynote address at the Luncheon will be given by
Mr. Edwin Snagg, the SVG Government's In-Charge of Grenadine's Affairs;  this year's honoree is Mr. Nelson King, renown journalist for several SVG and Caribbean publications.

    The theme for the 27th anniversary of Independence is:

               CELEBRATING OUR VINCENTIAN IDENTITY

and each of these events is planned for us to do that and have a great time.  So please come and be a part of these occasions.

Thanksgiving Church Service.

We remind you of the next two events this weekend:

Independence Anniversary Dinner Dance - Saturday, November 4 at
Renaissance Parque Banquet & Convention Centre, 2800 Hwy 7 at Jane Street.
Admission is $60.00 and there is an open bar (All drinks are included).

Town Hall Meeting - Sunday, November 5 from 3:00 p.m. at York Civic
Centre, 2700 Eglinton Avenue West at Keele.  Topic for discussion is "The Caribbean Court of Justice".  This court replaces the British Privy Council as the final court for participating Caribbean countries.  Hear presentations from Justice Adrian Saunders of the Caribbean Court of Justice and Justice Gregory Regis of the Ontario Supreme Court as well as other legal practitioners.

Admision is free and refreshments will be served.
